Monitor Type: Basic Connectivity
Monitor Parameters: Monitor Type
Monitor Type |
Properties |
Basic connectivity |
PING |
Packet Size, bytes – specifies the number of data bytes to be sent. The default is 32, which means 40 ICMP data bytes when combined with the 8 bytes of ICMP header data
Reverse monitor (OK when no PING) – if set, the monitor is in the OK state when there is no answer from the host to the PING request. IF the host replies to the PING, the monitor is in the DOWN state. |
TCP |
Port (integer)
Reverse monitor (OK when TCP port is off) – if set, the monitor is in the OK state when the specified TCP port cannot be connected to. IF the connection attempt is successful, the monitor is in the DOWN state. |
UDP |
Port (integer)
Data in Hex to be sent to the server
Expect Echo Response – if TRUE, the monitor compares the server response with the data it sends; otherwise any response is acceptable.
