port. A status of inactive(1) indicates that a dynamic port does not yet have a VLAN assigned or that a static or dynamic port has been assigned a VLAN that is not currently active. A status of active(2) indicates that the currently assigned VLAN is active. A status of shutdown(3) indicates that the port has been shutdown as a result of a VMPS response on a dynamic port. A status of vlanActiveFault(4) only applies to tokenring ports and indicates that the port is operationally disabled because the TR-CRF VLAN of which the port is a member has active ports on another device and only ports on that remote device may participate in that TR-CRF VLAN.
