interfaceTopNNormalizationReq

interface Top N Normalization Req
1.3.6.1.2.1.16.27.1.2.1.4

This object indicates whether normalization is required in the computation of the selected value. If the value of this object is 'true', the value of the selected variable will be multiplied by a factor equal to the interfaceTopNNormalizationFactor divided by the value of effective speed of the interface If the value of this object is 'false', the value of the selected variable will be taken 'as is' in the TopN computation. If the value of the object interfaceTopNSampleType is bandwidthPercentage(3), the object interfaceTopNNormalizationReq cannot take the value 'true'. The value of this object MUST be false if the effective speed of the interface sub-layer as determined from ifSpeed is zero. This conforms to the ifSpeed definition in [RFC2863]for a sub-layer that has no concept of bandwidth. This object may not be modified if the associated interfaceTopNControlStatus object is equal to active(1).
