- open Control Panel, click on 'Ad/Remove Programs'
- click 'Add/Remove Windows Components'
- select 'Management and Monitoring Tools', click 'Details'
- check 'Network Monitor Tools', click 'OK'
- click 'Next'; if necessary, either insert the proper removable media with original Windows Server 2003 CD/DVD or enter the appropriate location
- click 'Finish'
