Monitors included into Virtual Machines – VMWare Virtual Machine template
Monitors provided by this template perform measurement of VMWare virtual machine parameters: CPU, memory, network and disk (both I/O rate and free/used space). Note that HTTPS is used to get the performance values; thus response code different from “HTTP 200” is considered an error. More about templates.

CPU Usage (enabled by default). CPU usage. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MHz.
CPU Usage (percent) (enabled by default). CPU usage as a percentage. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MHz.
Memory Granted. Amount physical memory that is mapped for a virtual machine. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs (megabytes).
Memory Consumed. Amount of host physical memory consumed by a virtual machine. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Memory Active (enabled by default). Amount of memory that is actively used by the guest. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Memory Active (percent) (enabled by default). Memory usage as percentage of total granted memory. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Memory Balloon. Amount of guest physical memory reclaimed from the virtual machine by the balloon driver. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Disk Usage (enabled by default). Aggregated disk I/O rate. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Kbps (kilobits per second).
Disk Read. Disk read rate. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Kbps.
Disk Write. Disk write rate. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Kbps.
Network Usage (enabled by default). Network utilization (combined transmit-rates and receive-rates). Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Mbps (megabits per second).
Network Receive. Averaged data receive rate. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Mbps.
Network Transmit. Averaged data transmit rate. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in Mbps.
Total Space. Total capacity all of the disks for virtual machine. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Free Space. Free space amount on all the disks for virtual machine. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
Usage Space. Used space amount on all the disks for virtual machine. Set ‘Virtual Machine Name’ to an actual machine name. Measured in MBs.
