The administrative port's connection type for this spanning tree instance. This parameter is used to optimise the fast Spanning Tree (6.4.3 of P802.1w). The default value is nopointtopoint(1). The value pointtopoint(2) forces the port to be treated as if it is connected through a point-to-point LAN segment to another switch. Set this parameter to autopointtopoint(3) makes the point-to-point status to be determined automatically by the MAC entity. The value edgeport(4) indicates that the port is considered to be an edge port (18.3.3 of P802.1t).
