This attribute is the most recent A-bit status sent to the interface. The A-bit status is part of the LMI protocol, and indicates willingness to accept data from the local interface. When an inactive setting is sent out, the Frame Relay service will discard any data offered from the local interface. When an active setting is sent out, the Frame Relay service will try to process all data offered from the local interface.
