This attribute specifies the maximum size of the DSC logical link 1 data buffer. Changes impact the amount of memory used (more memory is used when increasing the attribute). The gain in performance obtained from the selection of a larger buffer size may be offset by less memory being available. The customer might wish to increase the buffer size when a degradation in throughput of the system is seen.
