The state of the network interface port. If the value is network(2), the concentrator may be cas- caded off of another network. Regardless of the value, the concentrator may also be connected to other networks via normal interface ports. Note that the functionality previously provided by this object has been superceded by portOperStatus and portAdminStatus as all external connections on the concentrator are available through the portTable. This object may be deleted from future versions of the MIB.
