The layout of the VLAN MIB tables relies on common information and VLAN type specific information. The ibmVlanConfTable is the base table. Columns are added to this table depending on the VLAN type, for example ibmVlanIPConfTable is for IP VLANs, ibmVlanIPXConfTable is for IPX VlANS, ibmVlanUDSWConfTable is for User Defined Sliding Window based VLANs, and ibmVlanMacConfTable is for MAC address defined VLANs. Associated with the extended configuration table is a base status table, ibmVlanStatusTable. This table covers generic status and the USDW and MAC VLAN status requirements are currently defined. Specific status table additions are provided by the ibmVlanIpStatusTable for IP criteria.
