June 2020 (5.2 build 14141)

This is a maintenance release, with new features introduced, and bugs fixed. Notable changes list follows.

Monitors

  • The HTTP(S) monitor has been extended, a new settings group “Measurement” is available. It allows you to specify whether the redirect time and DNS lookup should be included in response time, whether the total time or the time to first byte (TTFB) should be measured.

Please see the details of these new settings in the corresponding help topic.

  • MS SQL Database monitor now allows selecting a modern version of MS SQL driver (supporting TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2). Please refer to the following Knowledge Base article: ‘How to use modern MS SQL driver‘ for more details.

Note: legacy (older) MS SQL driver is used by default.

  • Fixed: when “SNMP Generic Trap” monitor (with SNMP Trap Type set to “Custom Trap”) was set to “Accept Any”, it had no effect when custom OID value was defined.

Alerting and Actions

  • Recovery notifications (when monitor returns from an extended Down or Warning state) are now turned on by default for new installation. This behavior is not forced when upgrading an existing IPHost installation.

Web Interface

  • Fixed: starting and stopping monitors from Web interface might not work.

Reports

  • Fixed: when a host running Windows 10, with fast startup settings enabled, went into sleep or hibernate mode, incorrect graphs were generated in Summary report.
