This object identifies the switch within the system for which this entry contains information. This value can never be greater than switchNumber. Index value 1 always represents the Master in a stacked configuration and the only device in a standalone configuration. Subsequent indices are sequential with the lowest number representing the Slave nearest the Master and so on.
